News: Cannabis Seeds are Considered Legal Hemp under 2018 Farm Bill

As reported by Marijuana Moment, and originally discovered by Shane Pennington of the important and informative blog, On Drugs, Cannabis seeds are now considered legal under the 2018 Farm Bill as long as they contain less than .3% Delta-9 THC.

This is an interesting development, as up until recently, cannabis seeds of strains that could contain over .3% Delta-9 THC were considered illegal up until now. This does not mean that those who live in states where marijuana is illegal, or where state laws prevent home-grown cannabis, should begin purchasing cannabis seeds freely, it furthers the conversation and reveals how murky the war on drugs, led by lawmakers, most of whom seem to have little understanding of cannabis, has become.

Obviously, this information is provided for informational and educational purposes only and is not intended to encourage or promote illegal activity.
