Not all green smoothies are equal. Woody’s Superfood Moringa Tisanes are a great way to add greens into your smoothies if you want a balance of flavor and nutrition. They make a nice change from your standard spinach and kale as well.
Moringa’s subtle, earthy, versatile flavor makes it a great compliment to other ingredients without being overpowering.
The same could be said about hemp seeds. Protein powders and supplements have come a long way when it comes to flavor, but they are still heavily processed. Peach & Strawberry Green Power Smoothie with Moringa & Hemp
- 2-3 Frozen Peach Slices
- 2-3 Frozen Strawberries
- .5 Frozen Banana
- 1 Tbsp. Woody’s Moringa Superfood Tisane
- 1 Tbsp. Hemp Seeds
- 1/2 C-1 C Milk Alternative (depending on thickness)
- 1 – 2 tsp. Agave, Maple Syrup, Brown Rice Syrup (OPTIONAL)
Add frozen fruit, Woody’s Moringa Superfood Tisane, hemp seeds, and half of the milk alternative to your blender. If it does not look like enough liquid, or you like a thinner, easier to drink product (like we do), add more milk alternative. Then, LET IT GO! If your blender has a “smoothie” or “extract” feature, give it a try. This may result in a smoother, creamier result.
